Kalpitiya

DAY 1 – kalpitiya
Warmly welcome you at Bandaranayaka International Air port Travel to kalpitiya. The Kalpitiya peninsula is a great location for a variety of outdoor activities, including kite surfing, snorkeling, whale and dolphin watching, safaris and boating. It is also a wonderful area for bird watching and walking, with miles of clean, open beaches and countryside to roam enjoy and relax .check in at your hotel. Overnight stay kalpitiya.

Kalipitiya
Kalipitiya is an undiscovered destination in Sri Lanka. kalpitiya, long peninsula that separates the Puttalam lagoon from the Indian Ocean, together with a string of offshore islands is emerging as a new tourist hotspot being blessed with a plethora of attractions as well as driven by the government’s efforts to develop it as an attractive tourist destination.

DAY 2
Starts the day early morning as clients’ needs proceed to watch dolphin & Whales watching.  Visit Talawila church and explore fishing villages etc,

DAY 3  -KALPITIYA – WILPATTU – ANURADHAPURA
Early Morning –leave for wilpattu national park with Picnic breakfast. Afternoon proceed to Anuradhapura .Check in your hotel. Overnight stay at Anuradhapura.


Willpattu National Park
Willpattu National Park is the largest and one of the oldest National Parks in Sri Lanka. Wilpattu is among the top national parks world.–renowned for its Leopard population, but its Leopard population is still not known. Where recorded the sloth bear density and it is a perfect place for sight leopard. Not even that Elephants with a Wild pig, many immigrant birds are commonly found in this tremendous place easily. The most common reptiles found in the park are the Monitor Lizard, and Mugger crocodile.Willpattu is a wetland as well. You will gather more enthusiastic moments in this precious land. The biodiversity is very high in this land.
                                                                                          
DAY 4 -ANURADHAPURA 
After breakfast leave for Anuradhapura and do the sightseeing tour in ancient city Anuradhapura, from the 4th century BC, it was the capital of Sri Lanka until the beginning of the 11th century AD. Then leave for Trincomalee.Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Anuraghapura.
Anuradhapura
Anuradhapura is an ancient city which as Mahavamsa, the great chronicle affirms, was founded in 380 BC by Prince Pandukabhaya.It remained the capital of Sri Lanka for about 1400 years and is the oldest city of Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura is bestowed with a plethora of historical monuments such as colossal dagobas, monasteries, temple complexes, palaces and many more amazing structures and hundreds of huge reservoirs. Famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Lankan civilization. From the 4th century BC, it was the capital of Sri Lanka until the beginning of the 11th century AD.A World heritage Site declared by UNESCO, Anuradhapura is one of the most sacred cities in Sri Lanka as it is home to the sacred jaya Sri Maha Boddi three under which the Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment (Buddha hood).Introduction of Buddhism to Lanka also took place in Anuradhapura during there reign of king devanampiyatissa (247-207 BC).The ancient city, considered sacred to the Buddhist world, is today surrounded by monasteries covering an area of over sixteen square miles (40 km).
DAY 5-6   Trincomalee

After breakfast we drive to Trincomalee, Evening city tour of Trincomalee. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Trincomalee.
The port city of Trincomalee, which has been a focal point of trade and a place of Hindu pilgrimage dating back to 400 B.C. Enter the Fort Frederick, which hosts many popular tourist destinations. This fort, built by the Portuguese in 1623, was subsequently used by the Dutch and British as a naval base. You will find that the insignia of the British Empire still crowns its entrances. Entering via the fort, behold the famed Koneswaram Kovil (temple) built atop the Swami rock by a cliff where pilgrims from across the world gather here to pay homage to the Hindu God, Lord Shiva. Although established as an ancient place of worship for at least 2 millennia, the current structure dates back to 1952 – but is beautifully designed with intricate details. Given its location, it offers an unparalleled view of all of Trincomalee.Visit the popular lover’s leap, which hosts a monument that speaks of perhaps a more tragic than a romantic tale of a daughter of Dutch General who leapt into the ocean to her death. Thereafter transfer to your hotel for your overnight stay.

DAY 7 – 8   Pasikudah

Travel to Pasikudah (109 km)
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and set off from Trincomalee leave to spend a relaxing day lazing under the tropical sun on the beach of Pasikudah, which boasts one of the longest stretches of shallow coastline in the world. Experience the calm blue waters of the Indian Ocean nipping your ankles as you venture a few hundred meters’ into the sea on an idle walk. Check in at your hotel. Overnight stay Pasikudah.

Day 09-10 Arugam Bay
After breakfast leave to Arugam Bay a World-renown surf spot, and scuba diving, snorkeling, bird watching, elephant watching, Visit to Muhudu maha viharaya, kudumbigala monastery, and you could enjoy Pothuvil Lagoon tours. Overnight stay Arugam Bay.

Arugam Bay
Drive to lovely Arugam Bay, is famed as the best surf spot in the country. It is a tiny place, with population of few hundred, and everything is dotted along a single road, which parallels the coast. If you are into surfing, Arugam Bay is the best destination you should go. Nearby hotels and resorts offer facilities that you need to indulge in surfing. It is best to surf at Arugam Bay from April till October. If you’re not surfer, there are plenty of other adventures in the surrounding hinterland.

Muhudu Maha Viharaya –
There are many Lord Buddha statues with ancient ruins located in this remarkable place. There is no evidence of king who built this place but there is a large Buddhist Monastery located with many buildings complexes. There are many ruins still remaining in a good condition. A great place to observe the history with over two thousands of years. Also, there is evidence about Buddhist Monk hospital in ancient time but due to Muslim Extremists threat, many evidence has been destroyed by them.


Pothuvil Lagoon – The best place to spend tranquility in morning and evening with the superb natural environment. Having a great enthusiastic boat trip in this place will never forget. The lagoon is very quiet and able to sight many animals such like Elephants, Crocs, and Eagle with many water birds.  The giant mangroves with superb surroundings are perfect for great relaxing. Breathtaking moments make a tremendous feeling for the guests.


Kudumbigala – A Buddhist Monastery over two thousand year history. After we trekking to the top of the mountain surrounding view is breathtaking. You will never forget about how stunning this amazing place. There is much archaeological evidence still remaining in here. Also watching sunset and sunrise can’t be explained in words also Elephants, Deer, Crocodile can be sight easily in here.
  
DAY 11- 12 Ella

After breakfast drive to Ella, Ella is blessed with some of the most beautiful views, you could find in Sri Lanka. Some of the places you could see in Ella are the Ella Rock, Ravana Ella Falls, Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arch Bridge among the other many stunning scenery. And Check in your hotel. Relax & Overnight stay in Ella.
  
Ella
Ella is a small village of quaint beauty, safely tucked-in amidst the towering peak of Sri Lanka’s central highlands of the Uva province. The sleepy village is nestled in a valley peering straight through Ella Gap to the plain nearly 1000m below and across to coastline, where on a fine day, you could even catch a glimpse of the Great Basses lighthouse of Southern Sri Lanka. If the view alone wasn’t good enough, Ella is a also surrounded by hilly countryside perfect for walks', through tea plantations to ancient temples and waterfalls.

Little Adams Peak
Little Adams Peak whether considering the word ‘Little’, it is named after the sacred Adams Peak (Sri Pada –where the foot print of Lord Buddha is preserved) regarding the similarity between the two mountains. Therefore the mountain was called as Little Adams Peak. “Punchi Sri Pada” is another name for this peak. It is 1141 m in height. Little Adam’s Peak attracts many travelers who come to Sri Lanka. Gradually with an easy hike up to the mountain of Little Adams Peak you can consummation a worth panoramic view. You have to walk through lush green tea plantation. The journey is truly amazing and unforgettable and more amazing moments Wonderful trekking.

Ella Rock
We were of course going to climb Ella's rock which sits at around 2000m, Ella sits at 1000m and so the prominence of the mountain, or the climb, was some one thousand meters or 3300ft. Ella Rock – Totally journey 8km for trekking it consist with fully amazing breathtaking views enormous feeling. It will pave the way to limitless wonderful experience. Instantly misty covered area with narrow paths are truly amazing.

Nine Arch Bridge
This viaduct was built at Gotuwala between the two railway stations – Ella and Demodara during the British Colonial period is the largest in Sri Lanka. Located almost 3100 feet above the sea level, this 99.6ft high bridge is called “Ahas namaye palama” (Nine skies bridge) in Sinhala. When one stands underneath it and looks up there is a beautiful sight of ‘nine skies’ through the nine arches, This Bridge is also called ‘The Bridge in the sky’ due to the sheer height. The bridge was finally commissioned in 1921. Locals came forward and build the bridge with solid stone bricks and cement without steel.

DAY 13- Tissamaharama, Yala National Park
After breakfast we proceed to Tissamaharama. After lunch we will visit Yala National Park safari for private jeep .Check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Tissamaharama.

Yala National Park is a second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Yala or Ruhunu National park is one of the best and most popular parks in the country due to its diversity and density of the mammals. It consists of five blocks covering area of 97,881 hectares. Much of the reserve is parkland, but it also contains jungle, beaches, freshwater lakes and rivers and scrubland. The latter zone is punctuated with enormous rocky outcrops. The range of habitats give rise to a good range of wildlife.Yala has the world's highest concentration of Leopards, although seeing this largely nocturnal carnivore still requires some luck. There are good numbers of Asian Elephants, Crocodile, Wild Boar, Water Buffalo and Grey langurs amongst other large animals. The open parkland attracts birds of prey such as White-bellied Sea Eagle and the wetlands have Waders, Painted Storks, and the rare Stork. Land birds of course are in abundance, and include Blue Faced Malkoha, Indian Peafowl and Sri Lanka Jungle fowl etc .

Day 14 Tangalle
After breakfast leave to Tangalle, Rekawa lagoon, Blowhole, kalametiya Bird Sanctuary, Mulkirigala Rock temple. Check in at your hotel.Overnight stay in Tangalle

Tangalle
Tangalla is essentially a paradise for swimmers, divers and those who are very much into tropical beaches. It has a natural palm-fringed sea bay and a fishing harbor offering great seafood. The long sandy beaches and the coral reef are the best attractions.

Rekawa lagoon
Rekawa is essentially an eco-friendly destination with a long sandy beach and a  mangrove -skirted lagoon. The lagoon together with the area around is rich in biodiversity; it holds mangrove forests, vegetations and a wide variety of wildlife and birdlife Rekawa Lagoon is a comparatively small coastal lagoon with a water surface area of 2.4 km (0.93 sq mi).

Blowhole or Hummanahaya      
Hummanaya is a natural blowhole, and caused when sea water rushes through a submerged cavern and is pushed upwards. The sea water flows underneath the shore, and then comes out of this hole due to pressure. The water fountain created by the geological feature shoots up every couple of minutes, depending on the nature of the sea, with the spray often reaching as high as 25-30 m.

Kalametiya bird Sanctuary
This is a haven for many species of residents as well as migrant water birds including many species of migrant ducks. The area is protected as a sanctuary by the Department of wildlife Conservation and is 712 hectares in extent. The area is primarily covered with reed beds, water bodies, and grass fields, marshes etc.

Mulkirigala Rock Temple
Mulkirigala ancient Rock Temple perched on a200-meters high boulder. The temple that dates back almost 2000 years hold a large recumbent Buddha image, ancient paintings,devales, a dagoba built atop the rock.
                                                                      
Day 15 - Mirissa        
Early morning Pick up from Thangalla and we will visit dolphin and whales watching to Mirissa. Morning session will be start at 6.30am and normally total trip duration is 4.5 hours, it will depend on sea condition. After that we proceed to Cinnamon Island & Boat Tour -Koggala Lake, then visit spice garden at Koggala another great location to observe the spices with unforgettable memories, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Mirissa.
Dolphin and whales watching
Mirissa is the best place you can go for whale and dolphin watching in Sri Lanka. In the warm Indian Ocean you can see Blue whales, bride’s whales, sperm whales, fin whales, and killer whales occasionally, and common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, spinner dolphins, risso’s dolphins and striped dolphins. And also you can see the turtles and the various fish species like blue fin tuna and flying fish. The best season for whale watching starts in November to April. Morning session will be start at 6.30am and normally total trip duration is 5.6 hours, it will depend on sea condition.
Koggala Lake
Koggala Lake together with its surrounding is one of the popular attractions in Koggala. The Lake is replete with small islands that abound with mangrove swamps and birds like herons. Among these islands is the famous island ‘Madol Duwa’Boat rides are available and you have a ride across the lake and explore these beautiful small islands in the lake and watch birds.

Day 16-17- Hikkaduwa
After breakfast we proceed to Hikkaduwa En route visiting .Hikkaduwa is a one of the most popular tourist destinations in Sri Lanka.The coral sanctuary, Replete with colorful fish is quite, fascinating and you can explore these fantasies in glass bottomed boat or by diving. This is also better for sunbathing, snorkeling, and many other pastimes. You can enjoy and relax in the beach. And Check in your hotel. Overnight stay in Hikkaduwa

Hikkaduwa
Hikkaduwa is a small costal town in the south situated 99 km south of Colombo . Well-known for its beach, subaqueous world of coral gardens with shoals of brightly coloured fish and nightlife, Hikkaduwa is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Sri Lanka the coral sanctuary replete with colourful fish quite fascinating and you can explore these fantasies in a glass-bottomed boat or by diving. Day 18 Bentota
After breakfast leave to Bentota. Will be spent on the glorious beaches for which Bentota is famous. Your 1 night here will be spent in the hotel that allows you to enjoy your surroundings

Bentota is bordered by western beach and lagoon bordered by the famous ‘Bentota River’.  A popular tourist destination, it offers an interesting mix of culture, architecture and activity. Bentota Beach is rich in golden sand and is ideal for a soul soothing romantic stroll while simply indulging in the splendor of the ocean. The Bentota lagoon and river are set for adventure where you could participate on variety of water sports including windsurfing, Jet skiing and Para-sailing and since recently Para-motoring.

Day 19: Negombo

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Negombo. Then, you will have a Negombo city tour. Fish market, boat rides, Dutch Fort, and check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Negombo.
